Geocache Description:

The Tularosa Basin, a mountain-ringed valley, lies at the northern end of the Chihuahuan Basin. Here you will find one of the world’s great natural wonders – White Sands National Park. The brilliant white dunes are ever changing. This multi-stop virtual cache will take you to the Heart of the Sands. The park is open year-round, except Christmas Day. The Dunes Drive loop is open from 7 A.M. to 9 P.M. (summer) and closes at sunset in winter. There is an entrance fee required.
