Geocache Description:

The cache is located on the koolau summit in a saddle just slightly south of the H-3 freeway tunnel. To the ESE is the haiku stairs. Allow 2-1/2 hours each way. Elevation 1660 feet. Elevation gain 1500 feet.

The cache is a plastic 7-11 bag with a couple of dollar in it and a topography map of the trail leading to the cache. The back of the topo map can be used as a log. I lost my pen while hiking to the site so please bring a pen and leave in the cache for others.
