Birches of Houdek Traditional Cache

Located in the Houdek Dunes Natural Area. North of Leland on M-22 about 5 miles to about 3/4M north of Co. Rd. 626.
Parking available at 45 04.101 W85 41.535. Cache is .34M from parking area on a pathway. The beauty of this area lies with the incredible size and number of birch trees. I've never seen such large birches. The walk is on a fern lined pathway thru a mixed forest of birch, maple, beach, pine, cherry. Once you break out of the forested area you come to the dune area, not far from Lake Michigan.
The cache is in a 1 quart Ziploc container. Contents range from dino puzzle, to necklaces, plus the Beary Sanders travel bug. Happy hunting, this is truly a beautiful area.
