Geocache Description:

Tidewater Bikeway Cache.


This is an easy cache to find. Being our first, we
wanted to make an easy one to start out with.

This cache is located on the Manteca Tidewater bike and hiking trail, 
now known as the Tidewater Bikeway. This use to be an old railroad right 
of way. The Tidewater Southern Railway, a subsidiary of the Western Pacific 
Railroad, was operated until the late 1980's when the rails were removed 
and the right-of-way converted.

Remember to keep this low impact.
