Geocache Description:


This cache is located in the Shoal Creek Living History Museum. The area is open daily for self guided tours. Admission is free except for several days when special events are scheduled. These are:

  • Kids Spring Jamboree – Saturday before Easter
  • 1st Saturdays – June through September
  • Civil War Event - 2nd weekend in October
  • Kid Safe Halloween & Fright Night – Saturday before Halloween
  • Wilderness Run - 1st Saturday in November 
  • A Visit from St. Nicholas – 1st Saturday in December
Please bring your own pencil or pen to sign the log. This should be an easy find and an educational trip. Expect to walk about .25 miles from the parking lot on gravel trails each way. Be sure to visit the bison enclosure adjacent to the park.
