Bradley Stoke short stream-side walk or hilly, brambly trek. Be warned the cache site can be very prickly so go prepared!
A traditional cache originally placed by slicepack and adopted by konkerers in July 2005. Bradley Stoke is a new town, home to around 25,000 people. The cache is in a popular green area, well used by local families. You may want to take bread for the ducks and swans on the lakes.
Good starting points where you can leave a car are the large Bradley Stoke Tesco Store (N51 32.234 W002 32.889)or Bradley Stoke Leisure Centre (N51 32.134 W002 32.685). Both locations have toilets and cafes if you need refreshment.
For a buggy friendly walk leave Tesco car park by a path on the east boundary and turn right, walking down Bradley Stoke Way until you get to a downwards slope leading to a gravel path. Follow the stream, feed the ducks and don't take the high ground.
For the more adventurous, leave the Leisure Centre car park on a path by the skate park, following the path until you cross the brook via a stone and concrete crossing with pipework beside it on your left. Then follow your GPS!
