One step to a great piece of American History
Around the 1890's a rif began between large and small ranchers in the area. This Cache is a stepping stone to a wealth of history. Easy off/on I-25, and a couple of miles south is another marker where the Calvary finally came to the rescue. North, in the town of Buffalo you can continue this wonderful investigation of the Old West at the Gatchell Museum. This is a "Good Guy-Bad Guy" tale in the Old West. DO IT..HAVE FUN!
