Geocache Description:

A favorite location for Japanese Protesters and Tourists alike. Stairs must be climbed to get to the cache, or a dirt road at a steep angle for a bike or wheelchair. It is the best location to watch military aircraft land - when the winds are from the South.

This virtual cache has been used many times as a scene for the public to view the largest U.S. air base in Japan. It has been the site of hundreds of protests, rallies, and a 'must see' for all visitors to Okinawa. News crews use this location as a key vantage point during any events that have 'World-wide military significance'. You will not find an aerial photo of this actual spot by definition, nor is it a published location in documents I have found. Tourists agencies have it down pat though!

Due to Force Protection of the U.S. Military and geographic location of land owners and Japanese Government, a traditional cache is not possible to place.

To log this cache, you will need to post a photo with yourself and/or GPS that shows the tile located at the posted coordinates, or email Erawan with the description of the tile.
