Geocache Description:

This offset cache is hidden at the highest point in Bukit Kiara, a spot with good views of KL, PJ and, smog permitting, Genting Highlands.

You'll require a compass to find this offset cache. It's hidden just off a steep trail at the highest point in Bukit Kiara (260m). The peak of the hill gives a good, even if not spectacular, view of KL and PJ. Access to the trail can be obtained either from the pump house road at the Bukit Kiara Equestrian Centre, or from the jogger's track that starts near the IBM building in Taman Tun Dr Ismail. Click here for a GPS-generated map of all the trails in Bukit Kiara. Bring mosquito repellent.

Once at the coordinates, stand at a spot where:

  • the KL Tower is at a bearing of 096°; and
  • the new Telecoms building at Pantai is at a bearing of 145° (it's the blue, sickle-shaped building).
The cache, a clear plastic container with a green cap, is at a bearing of 245°.

PS Bumped into the Prime Minister, who was out riding his horse, when we were setting this cache.
