There is a $3 entry fee for the horse trailer parking on
weekdays and a $4 fee on weekends. This cache is hidden in
Pocahontas State Park. It is South of Beach Road. I updated the
ratings after finding out it isn't as difficult as we thought. The
terrain can be rough at times though.
Another cache in Pocahontas. We hid the cache on 7/8/03. We hid
it back in the woods south of Beach Road. It is an ammo can. We
suggest wearing jeans and a sturdy pair of hiking boots because of
the underbrush. The best place to park is the horse trailer parking
off Beach, but it will cost you $3, effective 7/1/04. You can also
park at the pull off across the street from the entrance, but they
might get on you, if you don't have a pass If you have anything to
