This rest area is one of the Cheyenne Deadwood Stagecoach trail sites and has a memorial to stagecoach drivers.
It is also a nostalgic site for us, which gives the cache its name. On 7-7-77 we stopped here on our way to Colorado for our honeymoon. That next winter when we stopped again, D began throwing snowballs and lost his wedding ring when it flew off his finger. We're happy to say that after much searching (and M crying) the ring was found. D still wears it today on our 26th anniversary, as we head back to Colorado to celebrate.
