We wanted to share a wonderful, hidden area of tranquility admist the hustle and bustle of Mission Valley. The San Diego River flows through Mission Valley. With all the recent condo developments, a paved walk was put in along the river. It is very peaceful and beautiful. The whole path reaches from Qualcom Way to Highway 163.
This is our first one. Cache originally was a rectangular camouflaged tupperware container about 6 x 8 x 1 inches. It is now a plastic candy container about 3 x 3 x 1/2 inches. There is no need to leave the path. Just bend down and grab it. This area can be busy at times. Orginial contents of the cache are: Log book w/pencils Note about Geocaching ScoobyDoo Lip balm Scooby Doo stickers Disney Princess stickers a skeleton key a quarter *GPS will be a little jumpy, be patient and it will settle* There is a parking area off of Mission Center Road behind Carls Jr.
