Table Rock with a view Traditional Cache

A nice 1 1/2 mile hike from the Hiway 67/Ellie Lane trailhead between Ramona and Poway. You can also come from the Iron Mountain trail head. There are four other caches in the general area, Ramona Overlook, Big Green Dot on Iron Mountain, Green Dot on Iron Mountain and Expo Cache.
The trail is a little steep in some spots, I would recommend bringing lots of water and doing an early morning or early evening hike during the hotter months. There is a trail that parallels Hiway 67 that connects Ellie Lane and the Iron Mountain trail. From Table Rock you can continue hiking to Ramona Overlook Cache which our GPS said was just under a mile as the crow flies and then go on to the others at Iron Mountain. The entire loop is probably about 8 or 9 miles. Don't hold me to that measurement as we have not done the whole loop yet. There is a picnic table under some oak trees just before you get to the cache site that is a nice rest area. This trail is well maintained and there is no bushwhacking to get to the cache. Cache is a Tupperware container that we stocked with 3 new computer games( coincidentally made by Radishworks), a rubber chicken, a camera, plastic frog and lizard, 2 light sticks, Dalmatian toy, a book, a LED key chain flashlight, a Coleman compass/thermometer combo, a log book and the Round About San Diego TB. Please make a note of your picture number on your log entry and we will retrieve it and post the pictures when it is full. Be careful when retrieving the cache as part of its cover may be fragile.
