Geocache Description:

Level ground, should be no walking difficulties normally.

It appears that my first cache in Providence is hopelessly compromised. After two floods, one this spring, and one in July, it will be quite awhile before the metroparks crew is able to clean up. The first cache was a multi part one, and I have broken it up into two hunts - Van Tassle Hassle, and this one - Dam It. This will be an easy hunt for those of you who don't want to bushwack. It will make up for the longer and more involved cache "Canal Knowledge". I would encourage you to hunt that one also, as it gives you a much more in depth view of how a canal works. This cache is in view of the ranger station, so be on your best behavior. The box is a small 4x4x2 camo colored container. It could be a little tricky, so please don't give anything away in your logs.
