Geocache Description:

This is the landing spot for hang glider pilots since 1974. They use to put $1.00 under the tin can in the center of the bullseye. You could take the dollar and log your visit, but there were two other ways this cache could be logged. DELA use to leave a dollar every time the cache was logged. There was additional money for the pilots that could complete the following tasks and log thier visit;

If they launched and circled the 1st pylon, N41 40.222 W111 05.855, then flew to Pylon 2 at N41 37.530 W111 07.528, circled the pylon and returned and circled the landing area in less than an hour he would send them $50.00 if they were the first. Task #2 was the same except they had to circle one additional, plylon 3, at the south end of the range at N41 32.420 W 111 07.180 and return to the LZ in two hours. He would send them $100.00.
Non pilots could claim the cache virtually by stopping in Randolph on 89N. at the point where pylon 1 and 2 are approx. equal distance apart. They could e-mail the distance or discribe the points they saw.

All I ask is that you sign the log at the posted coordinates and possibly post a picture of yourself with Crawford Mountain in the background, or a picture from up top if you are heading up there.
