East Bound Interstate I-70, parking .3 mile past MP56, on right. Flat with a "little" uphill walk. If west bound you can walk under interstate in huge culvert, you must figure your own MP marker.
Within several hundred feet of the parking area, up canyon, on the left is the old dynamite shack with its door still intact. The cache is up the canyon out the door in front of the shack.
With your back to the sheer cliff and the cache at your feet, looking through the foliage you can see the door of the dynamite shack the Little Bookcliff Wild Horse area across the Colorado River (you can see river) and both lanes of the interstate.
Original contents are: Log and pen, patriotic bandana, new sealed corn cob pipe, clown fridge magnet, 7 boxes glow worms, Goofy bobble head doll, 2 dinosaurs, Cyalume, kaliedoscope, 2 Cricket piezo butane lighters, racoon on geode, $2 bill and Gold Dollar all in small ammo can.
