Take a journey to the center of the island and take a journey back in time (or seemingly so). This Pond has many things to offer the Geocacher. You will see many species of birds (some say the descendants of the dinosaurs), Alligators, Bats, Deer, Raccoons, Squirrels, ticks, mosquitoes, and many more types of wildlife. Jekyll Island offers many places to stay, many things to do, and many things to see. We have found this area of the island to be as interesting as the historic district, the Golf Courses, and the Beaches...We think that you will too
