West Alt. 58 from Big Stone Gap to Pennington Gap at Cave Springs
Enter the park. This is a pay site, so it would be appropriate to bring money to visit.
$12 per vehicle to camp
$5 to picnic
$3 to swim
This is a beautiful area to visit, as there are plenty of activities to entertain all age groups.
Access the trail head and enjoy the scenery past the swimming area and proceed up the trail.
You will come to the cave and overlook.
From here, you are on your own.
BE SURE to stay on the trail, as no bushwhacking is needed to find this cache.
*Hunting season reminder* This is a National Forest, so it will be closed for season.
The cache container is an ammo box. Watch out for poison ivy!!!!
