Dishmill Creek Hike Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Sapience Trek: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

Mostly downhill on the in.

The cache is located on the east side of letchworth state park. Park at the trail head N42º 36.116 and W 77º 59.187, (located at the intersection of River Rd. and Dygert Rd.). It’s probably a good idea to bring some bug spray, most of the trail is in the woods. There is a shallow creek crossing on the trail but there is a small wooden bridge to get across without getting wet.

The cache is a large black plastic jug marked on the outside & lid with “Geocache”. Inside you’ll find most of the usual items and “Scotty” the Hitch Hiker. Scotty is trying to get to Scottsdale, Arizona. He has a tag attached with instructions and the GPS coordinates for the final destination.
