Steeley Max is located near Fort Steele historical village/town.
If driving from Cranbrook, cross the bridge and then turn right onto Selkirk Avenue. If coming from the north (Wasa, Fort Steele), this will require a left hand turn across the highway. Once on Selkirk Avenue, take the left onto Fort Steele Station Road and go all the way down. Park in the area where the railway crosses the stream, and let the GPS guide your way.
After you have found the cache, you could explore the area. The osprey are/were building a condo on top of one of the nearby power line poles.
