Level wide trail, about a half mile walk along the trail. Bring bug repellent, Mountain bikes seen on trails.

We went in and moved the cache off the Island to higher ground.
The Cranberry Bog Reservation
A unique natural resource Approximately. 316 acres, 165-acre Cranberry Bog in South Chelmsford. Half in Carlisle (151 acres) This site is the headwaters for the cranberry bog in Carlisle This body of water is an important habitat for wildlife and a great location to observe migratory waterfowl, Sometimes a Beaver.
Parking for 3 cars is on Elm St in South Chelmsford (N 42° 33.407, W 071° 22.841), This location is the closet to the cache.
(You cannot enter this site from the northeast) That trail is blocked by water and a beaver dam.
Cache is a clear plastic square container with a white screw on cover.
Contents: Key chains, belt buckle, buttons, metal mold, plastic white horse, guitar pick, etc....
*** KB1LQC and KB1LQD (Geo Twins) performed cache maintenance on 6-12-2012. Replaced the logbook and added a new pen, sharpened the pencil. Container was in great condition for its age.
