Pretty easy walk. Not short, but easy.
OK, we're back. June says I should start pulling cache details again and I have a newer GPSr. We'll refresh this OG cache again and rejoin this diversion. Completely new dogs to bring out.The pup we had out here at last update is 11. Time flies....Mar 05, 2025
Cache Container upgraded/ Cache refreshed....Dec 16, 2012
Cassidy is gone now, and we miss her terribly. This was one of the spots we came to frequently, and every time I come I think of my old girl. If you see a black and silver girl in the woods, maybe she's still watching.
Nice lake, NO SWIMMING, the lake is drinking water, but dogs are allowed. (carry in, carry out doggies [scoop your ....])
If you try to park at the Audobon, they don't want dogs in the fields till after summer....so park at the lake( on Bypass 28)...and walk/easy mt bike...or paddle. There's stuff in the cache (see picture), and a cool big flat rock to rest on or have lunch.A little less frequented than Battery Pt.
**Don't forget to be back to your car before gate locks...or park on road!!**
The Cache is a 6"x10" plastic container, about the size of a Ovaltine Container, hidden just off a small trail, lots of blueberry bushes. Please rehide as close and well as possible. Sign the book, make a good swap...and enjoy the area. Other caches out here too. Would make a good paddler marathon session.
