Geocache Description:

A very easy and pleasant walk around Lake Henry in Ivon Wilson Park near Te Anau will lead you to this site.

This cache is on an easy short walk that goes around Lake Henry, near Te Anau. It’s a popular picnic spot in summer. Children are allowed to fish for trout in the lake. The cache is above the lake in a 1 litre camo painted snap lock container. The cache is very well hidden and you'll need to reach into the grass for it, although it is not buried. Also check out Milford Road – there’s 3 more!

Update: Recent grass spraying by heavy handed idiots has killed the tree where I first hid the cache. As I only put caches in scenic places this one may have to be shifted. NZ is not clean and green as many want you to believe - it just has plenty of land to spread it's mess & mistakes.
