Pillars of Strength II Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Max Cacher: Greetings from Geocaching.com

We take all Should Be Archive notes very seriously

It looks like your cache has been under the weather for some time. While we feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. So that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.
If you are in the process of replacing or repairing your cache please e-mail me in response to this archival, and I will unarchive your cache.
Notice the last time you were on thesite was back in May
I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

Geocache Description:

Another beautiful, peaceful site in the Northwest Arkansas Ozarks.

NOTE:We placed two Travel Bugs in this cache. A westbound Tortise and an eastbound Hare. They both already have begun their journeys, so they're not there anymore. One goes East, the other West. Which will make it around the world and back home first?

The broken container has now been replaced.

This is the third cache we have placed at this locale. It was replaced on 6/20/04 to the same spot as before.

This cache is in a heavily wooded area right in the middle of a residential area. Travel just a few yards down the trail, and civilization is a thing of the past.

Located near the site of a long ago demolished Sanitarium, trails lead down fern and moss lined pathways, a gushing spring, and an old breached dam with a small cascade of water.

Leave your car in the lot of the Park Springs city park. There are several paths to the main trail. Follow your GPS and see how well you do at picking the right path.

ORIGINAL CONTENTS: Notebook & Pencil - pencil sharpener, flag pin, red stress-reliever ball, toy star, and key chain.

Eight 'good' shots from an earlier camera are posted below. Take a picnic lunch to eat when you return to the park. ENJOY!
