This area is ruled by Russell, the biggest kangaroo I've ever seen, standing 1.5m when crouched on his haunches.
There are two approaches to the cache, both of which are about the same distance and difficulty. Allow yourself at least an hour to do the walk, or do as we did and stay overnight in the youth hostel and explore the area more thoroughly. You may even be lucky enough to spot Russell. You'll almost certainly see other 'roos there, or spot the Superb Blue Wrens and New Holland Honeyeaters.
The cache is a two litre clip-lock box and contains a logbook and pen, string, soap, candles, pencil set and a note book.
