WSU Bronze Art Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

LadyGrady: Went out to check on the cache and found that it is no longer there. That is three times that this cache has gone MIA. So regretfully I am archiving this cache. [:(]

Geocache Description:

This is a two-stage multi-cache primarily on the Wichita State University campus. The coordinates on this page will take you to a parking area to start your search. There used to be a tree where these coordinates are. But there should be plenty of parking across the street.

I am listing the clues here on this page so you may want to print this out.

The first stage is finding the clues so you can find the coordinates for the second stage.

There are many beautiful bronze works of art all over this campus. And you must find six of them that hold the clues for the coordinates of the final cache. I will give you part of the coordinates but you must fill in the blanks.

1. The hands called "The Cathedral" is art #_ _._A._
2. Jose DeCreeft created a "New Being". What year was he born? _ _ _B
3. "Howl" was created when? _ _ _C
4. What is the art # for the statue that represents the Centennial year for WSU 1895-1995? _ _.D_
5. Another American who created "Heroica" was born in _ _ _E
6. Gerhard Marcks created "Freya" in _ _F_

The second stage is off campus and is a camouflaged painted RubberMaid jar filled with goodies and a log book. The cords take you close to cache. The tree cover gives the GPS a poor signal. There is some bush whacking involved.

Enjoy the bronze works of art on the WSU campus. Good Luck!
