Geocache Description:

"It is all flat pestilence...
an emptiness...
yet the end and beginning of all life" ~EraSeek

A cache at the mouth of the Stillaquamish River

Hazards include:
Weather
Wind
Tide
River current
Muck
Quicksand (no kidding)

Pleasures include:
Weather
Wind
Tide
Endless water and sand
Wildlife
Few, if any, people

A boat is required to reach this cache(unless you are a cacher named Shunra). The cache is about two miles from the launch point. My extended trip was 6.05 miles round trip. I did it near low tide and was able to boat and walk well into the tidal lands of Port Susan. I saw Osprey and Bald Eagles, and a mysterious pair of objects well out in the exposed bay which (after a half mile walk) proved to be 2 huge concrete blocks. What they are doing there I haven’t a clue.

The cache is an ammo box.

"May also encounter HOT coffee ~D (which may be HOT) while driving to and from cache." :O
