At these coordinates, you will find a modest rectangular family plot for one of the more prominent families in Orlando (circa 1800s). It is the grave marker for a member of this family (related by marriage) that is the focus of this cache.
Locate the tall grey marble headstone bearing names and a small amount of information pertaining to dates of birth and death. There is nothing on the stone that will give you a clue as to who this person was or what he or she accomplished in 80 years of life. It's important that you get the correct stone - so make sure the marker that you pick indicates that the deceased entered into rest in the year 1881.
The person buried here is a direct descendant of one of the more famous and respected founding fathers of our country. In fact, the deceased was born in the household of this patriot and eventually moved to Florida to make his own mark on the world.
While the accomplishments of the deceased have faded with time, his or her ancestors continue to hold a place of honor in American history.
