This is a virtual cache in the heart of Colony Olivenhain. The
Colony was established over 100 years ago by German immigrants. The
buildings you see here are original. The Meeting Hall is on the
National Register of Historic Places. The small shanty colony house
was moved to this location after spending some time as a storage
shed. Today Olivenhain is a distinct community in the City of
Encinitas. Olivenhain means "olive grove." The colony was founded
on land that was at the time Rancho Las Encinitas ("little oak
trees").
Your task is to find the following items:
- What were the dimensions of the Olivenhain Meeting Hall?
- What is its construction date?
As normal for virtual caches, do not post
your answers, even encrypted, in your log. Please email your
