A straightforward Cache hidden at Longcliffe Station, on the High Peak Trail. Rating is based on cycling from Middleton Top. The container is a screwtop beaker suitable for small bugs and geocoins and smaller swaps.
This is one of a number of Cache’s that are hidden either on, or very close by the High Peak Trail. The other caches are:

The High Peak Trail runs for 17.5 miles from High Peak Junction, near Cromford, to Dowlow, 6 miles south of Buxton. At Parsley Hay it is joined from the south by the Tissington Trail, which runs for 13 miles from Ashbourne. The Tissington Trail gives easy access to the following Caches:

The cache is best done on Mountain Bike, following the High Peak Trail. You can hire Mountain Bikes for a fairly reasonable fee (£6 for 3 hours) at Middleton Top if you wish.
Have a look around the old station area, there is the old fire bucket hanger which has lost it's hooks and most of it's red paint, a railway milepost and a gradient sign! This one starts with a small caclulator and a mini padlock.
