Geocache Description:

A steep climb {on a road}at parts, but not unmanageable. Young & old will enjoy the walk. The views are tremendous!

The hill top views of Napa and the Bay make this Browns Valley cache a GEM. It is a little-known City park, known only to local walkers. Not for the faint of heart or someone weak in the knees. The traverse will get your heart a pounding. Beware of springtime thistles, poison oak {only if you stray from the road} and occasional herds of cows with their protective bull. Blackberries will be a seasonal treasure to find. Even in the winter this is a nice hike on a cool crisp day. There is a memorial to Ted M. nearby. {Anyone know details about this?}

Park at the curb at coordinates: N 38 18.200
W 122 20.975 {End of Timberhill Dr.}
{Be quiet and kind to the neighbors.} Then go thru the gate and follow the winding road and you will sail to find the treasure chest.

Don't forget to bring some drinking water, and a plastic bag for the seasonal blackberries.

Placed in this cache is a DARE Stuff, a new DARE TB and other treasures any pirate {or geocacher} might desire.

Be sure to email InspGadget, describing your hike and find.

UPDATE 02/06/2005: The original cache was stolen, so it has been moved and restored. Be sure to replace the cache as you found it. For those of you who found SHIVERS in its old location, you can log this one again if you find the new home.
