Aldous Lake Cache Traditional Cache
just555max: I went and checked on this cache and it is indeed gone. I am moving and will not be able to replace it. This is still a nice hike.

Nice hike to and around Aldous Lake, Kilgore ID. Plan for about a 45 minute hike. There is a trail but it does get a little steep in places.
At N 44°29.466 W 111°53.620 there is a camping spot. From very near there there are signs to Aldous Lake. Follow those signs. Park at N 44°30.497 W 111°50.533. It is about a one mile hike from there. It is a nice hike but probably not one on which I would take a young child. Nice view of the creek most of the way. Take Bug Spray. Once you get to the lake, you will need to keep following the trail about halfway around the lake. The cache is in a green ammo can.
