Geocache Description:

The Enchantment Cache is hidden near the new Reybridge to Chippenham section of the Avon cycleway. The majority of the route is tarmac although stiles and mud may sometimes be present. this is an excellent cache for cyclists.

The area overlooked by the cache site is one of the River Avon flood plains. In the event of severe rain during the winter months, the scenery is certainly different. Wiltshire County Council is currently completing a cycle path through this area and the tarmac surface allows easier access to the cache site. Reybridge itself has a beautiful 17th Century bridge over the River Avon with its own glut of ducks, swans, coots, herons, moorhens and even a resident kingfisher. Bring some bread with you if you choose to base your assault from this location.

There is a small amount of roadside parking in Reybridge but ample parking in nearby Lacock.

Also, please note that passing by with a torch in the dead of night through Reybridge might not be a good idea due to the proximity of the footpaths to a certain VIP.

Nearest eateries which we would recommend would be 'The George' in Lacock village itself and 'The Bell' at Bowden Hill.
