This cache is located along the hiking trails across from the Iowa Arboretum, between Madrid and Luther. Entry fees may be required, see below.
To get to the Iowa Arboretum, go to Luther and follow the signs. We placed the cache at this location because we were married at the Iowa Arboretum in June of 2001. We really liked the area and after a lot of exploring, we discovered the final cache location. It is one of our favorite places to go and relax. Take time to sit on a bench and enjoy the surroundings but make sure to wear long pants and bug spray if looking for this cache in the summer. iowaarboretum.org
*Due to the completion of the Treehouse Village in 2024, access to the Woodland Trails will require an entry fee or membership to the Iowa Arboretum. You may be able to bushwhack around the Treehouse Village, bypassing the trail and steps. Also, the Woodland & Prairie Trails, including Treehouse Village, are CLOSED during the winter.*
