As we like to do, my wife and I went camping and left caches for each other to find on our trip. This is one of two that I left on this trip, my wife left another two. It's not well covered, but is in a rarely visited area of the park, so I don't believe that it should be discovered. Approach from the highway side, and you shouldn't have any problem to find. The only difficulty will be to log without being observed, hence the increased difficulty. Lots of small geo-toys are enclosed, some handy for using out in the woods.
This is one of the Ammo-cans from Moosiegirl's ammo-can gathering in Austin last month, so thanks go to her for the sturdy container. If it looks like it's garnering more traffic than I previously saw, please cover it up, or shove it further back in to the foliage.
Since this is a TX state park, don't forget to stop by the office to pay the day fee if you'll be spending any time in the park, or just pay the money for the annual Texas Conservation gold pass. This cache is before the park office, so you can nab it and move on if you're not going to be in the park.
