this is BLM land that ajoins NF behind it. an old unkept road side
rest stop and picnic area you can drive right up to and see the
fountain. a view of the lake below
we are hoping to introduce folks to this tucked away small rest
stop and park on BLM land just off the busy scenic hiway. A good
access point to the Natioal forest land directly behind it up te
hill. The fountain is no longer attatched to a water supply but we
find it a pleasant reminder of the older times and places. The
container is like tupperware 3"tall, 5" wide, and a foot long to
fit into it's burrow. It contains a few state quarters, some soap
bbl favor, a geocaching patch, m10bike's wooden nickle windsheild
wash, a new small calculator with it's instructions
attatched,flagging (wapi pink), a sacajawea dollar(from mulefool),
bear the Travel Bug, and the log and intruction sheet with
pen,(I'll get a pencil out there before it freezes) THERE WAS A
SECOND MATCHING FOUNTAIN, I WAS GOING TO DO SOMETHING WITH BUT IT
HAS BEEN 'NIALATED. APPROX.100 Yrds.
