Near Alder Creek NY, this is located on the back roads off of Rt. 12
The Gnome Gnavigators (up from Florida) and Gullivers Crew got together for a weekend this summer and went out caching. After locating a cache, we decided to drive some of the back roads in the area to reminisce the old days, and look up a cemetery with our great,great grandfathers tombstone. On the way there, we ran into a “who’d have thunk it” surprise, and promptly got out to take coordinates to make it a cache. This may not seem as unique if you come by different roads, but it was a real surprise to us, and seemed very out of place.
Finders of the cache location should look for an Altoid can. There is a small logbook inside, and no room for anything else, 'cept maybe a dime, or perhaps a quarter or two now-a-days. Oh, and if this leaves your ears ringing, it's not because we're talking about you! Have fun.
