Geocache Description:

This two-stage multi-cache is located in Santa Fe Trail Park in Plano, which connects Bob Woodruff and A.R. Schell parks. This park is a linear or edge park, with a lot of edgy things in it.

This is our first physical cache and our first in the DFW area. And as far as we know, this is the first cache in Santa Fe Trail park proper (there was a cache named Santa Fe by 9Key that was in Bob Woodruff Park - or was it?) The terrain within its edges is beautiful but sometimes steep - also watch out for cliff edges near the trail and be careful after heavy rains. The terrain difficulty could increase if you take the wrong route. There is more than one route to stage 2. There is some avoidable poison ivy and a few thorns in the area. Stay on a trail most of the way, and you'll find a cache On The Edge!

We suggest parking on the edge of the park at N33 02.470 W96 40.582, although there is plenty of other parking close by. The round trip to both stages is less than .25 miles. The final cache is a camo-taped altoids tin. It should be easy to find.
