Geocache Description:

This cache was inspired by my quest for the prefect 'wild' blueberry'. The Pines seem to have plenty of places to hunt for the 'Jersey Blues'. There 'were' some nice big fat berries @ the cache location, but alas the easy ones are gone and will be a pie soon. Have plans for a blueberry meade and have some other uses in mind. Anyhow try the pie and while caching try the fruit, too.

The Cache contents to start are:

Where's Tom and small log book
1 Beener with compass
1 Bungee cord
2 AA alkaline batteries
1 M.I.L. '03 State Quarter
1 Rubber Spider
1 Camera used for the photos ;)
2 Coins from around the world, maybe useful for the coin exchange caches.....hmmm is there a pattern developing, here?

Easy Blueberry Pie

1 purchased 9-inch crumb pie crust
6 cups fresh blueberries, divided
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon lemon juice
whipped cream, home made is best and is easy as pie, too!

Combine 2 cups berries, sugar and 2 tablespoons water in large saucepan; bring to a full boil. Dissolve cornstarch in 1/4 cup cold water; add to blueberry mixture. Return to the boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in butter, lemon juice and remaining 4 cups of blueberries. Spoon into crumb crust. Let stand 3 hours until set. Serve with whipped cream or topping.
Serves 8.

Anyhow try the pie or send me your favorite recipe for blue berries. Have some fun, play safe, be aware! M.I.L.
