Geocache Description:

Cache located in Worcestershire off the A449 between Worcester and Kidderminster, Woodfield Lane, near Ombersley.

Travelling along the A449 between Worcester and Kidder-minster, heading for Kidderminster. One mile past Ombersley turn left into Woodfield Lane. 500m up Woodfield lane there is a stile on the left (N 52 17.352, W 002 14.190). Cross over the stile. Walk diagonally to the right, past a round copse on the left. Keep the old garage and wood store on your right. You will approach a small wooded area which slopes downhill. Enter the wooded area at the lowest point keeping the wooden fence on your left. After approx. 10m there will be a wire fence in front of you, the cache is located in the corner. The track in the field was used for horse exercising and has become compressed over time. The official name is a “manege”. The big house to the right of the field is owned by one of the Richardson brothers of Merry Hill shopping centre fame. Sytchampton is an old English name meaning "stream in the hamlet".
