You've come to visit historic Olde Towne Alexandria and probably want to find a cache while you're here. Here's a quick and easy cache in a park by the river.
Small park - small cache. A canister with only the top visible. Inside is only a log sheet so you'll need to bring a pen. Don't forget to feed the meters - parking enforcement is tough in these parts. On 18 September 2003, Hurricane Isabel came through this area and the entire park, including this cache, was under almost 5 feet of water. While they say this should happen only once in a hundred years, beware if there is a storm brewing
