Where has all of the history gone? It is hard to imagine what this area used to be like. At one time it was a small but bustling riverside community replete with mills, factories, and stores. And today? Well, you’ll just have to see for yourself.
This cache can be found right from your car (in fact, the coordinates are taken from a location that you can drive to immediately adjacent to the historical marker itself). Please try not to block traffic if you choose to remain in your vehicle while reading the marker.
Once you are done trying to imagine where ANY of these old buildings could have disappeared to, make a note of who founded this village as well as the names of the two closest businesses, and send those answers to me in an email to complete the cache.
WARNING! FAILURE TO EMAIL THE CORRECT ANSWERS WILL RESULT IN THE DELETION OF YOUR LOG. Apparently, this is one of the few virtuals still monitored.
