This is a very short pick-up in a picnic area overlooking the
Penobscot River. Cache replaced on 8-12-04.
The cache is located on RT. 15 between Brewer and Bucksport at
turnoff coordinates N 44 43.189 W 068 49.581. This is a nice little
picnic area overlooking the Penobscot River. Cache is a black/green
camo coated pill container about 6 inches in length. The theme of
this cache is cooking since it's related to a picnic on the river
and it's my wife's first hidden cache. If you have a favorite
recipe, drop it off and if you want, take one you may like. There
is room for small items only. Stop and have a sandwich...it's a
great place! Please conceal cache in the same manner as it's found.
Since it is a distance from the original and a different container,
you can claim it twice. The picnic area is gated from November to
Spring.
