Geocache Description:


Placed off of the Airline Trail, this is a nice and easy walk but finding the cache could prove to be a little bit of a challenge. This trail is open to the public but at times there is private property to the side of the trail. The cache is hidden in land that is open to the public.

There are two main approaches that you can take. You can either park at N41 35.505' W072 23.489 for a shorter walk or at N41 37.874 W072 20.638' for a longer walk, though there is more parking at the second location. Either way is popular with people who frequent the trail. There is a third way, but you have to find that one on your own!Just make sure to bring some insect repellent with you!

The challenge comes when you are have to leave the main trail. With the tree cover I was only able to obtain a 50 foot accuracy with my GPS (once the leaves fall I will update this page with more accurate information if I can get it). The cache is a flip top container that is wrapped in gray duct tape.

Once you are in the area make sure to sit and relax for a while. There are benches along the trial or you can sit down next to the stream and listen to the running water.
