Geocache Description:

This cache is a short walk from Teston Lock on the river Medway in Kent. The whole route is hard surface with only a slight incline. Parking is at Teston Riverside Park – the parking charge is by honesty box some days (50p), some days the gate is manned with a £1 charge.

Teston Lock

Teston Riverside Park is a popular picnic area and (at the time of placing) contains another cache beside this one! You will not pass very close to the lock on the way to the cache but it is worth a small detour to see the lock and take a walk along the river. We would have liked to place the cache nearer to the lock but the area has a tendancy to flood badly after a period of rain! The cache is a small tupperware box.
