You know this place and you've always wanted to stop here for a closer look. Located on the historic 10,000 acre Rancho Calleguas, the house was built in 1892, restored recently, and is open for special events and tours Sat 10-4 and Sun and Weds noon-4 for $3. Horses are a cross between Morgan, Arab and Spanish breeds, and are parade famous. Large trees were all planted before 1900 and are on CA Tree Registry. Cache is outside gated area and legally accessible any time. ANOTHER HINT: it shouldn't get wet here.
