Geocache Description:

Hungary, Budaõrs elevation: 213m

Hi my comrades,

Leaving the capital of Hungary on the M1/M7 motorway there is the Stonehill (Kõhegy) above Budaõrs with a cross on its top visible from a great distance. The hill seems to be barren from far but it is plentiful with plants and animals. The cross was erected at the turn of the century and it was destroyed after the 2nd Word War.
The Germans renewed it to the memory of their expulsion in 1946.
There is a glorious panorama from the top of the hill, you can see far in clear weather.
When locating the cache there was a thunderstorm emerging.
The cache is a box measured 15*15*8 cm having a yellowish green cap.
Be careful at the steep, rocky hillside, especially in rainy weather and with children.
