Geocache Description:

This cache is only 5 or 9 miles from Interstate 80 and Alternate Highway 50, near the Fernley Airport and Speedway very near Alternate Highway 50.

The cache container is a magnetized AOL tin (that should tell you its attached to something it will stick to) with the same dimensions as a CD jewel case. Because of its size, you’ll need to bring your own writing implement.

The cache container is appropriate for items like currency, coins, collector cards, stickers, etc. When I placed the cache I started it out with 5 packages of vegetable seeds and the requisite Stash Note/Log Sheet.

Remember, you’re in the desert. I always make sure of what I’m reaching my hands into before I do it. You never know if there’s one of those critters with a noisy tail hanging out with the cache.

The location of the cache is just beyond a two-lane range gate. If you are unfamiliar with range gates, here is the general rule of passage: If the gate is open when you get there, leave that way. If it's closed, re-close it after you pass through. If there is a sign on the gate that says "Close the gate," then no matter how the gate was left before you got to it, close the sucker.  It seems since i placed the cache that the gate is sometimes locked.  Proceed at your own risk.  Sorry.
