Third time is a charm?
My series of Spring Brook caches have been well visited but for whatever reason - never stayed hidden, get plundered and found by geomuggles.
So once again I have moved "upstream".
The area the cache in now located in may be familiar so some who have done Janesville caches. Randoms Revenge is nearby in the same area of this park.
Your hints will come in this text - It is near spring brook - now while that might surprise some, I think most of you will have figured this out. This time I am staying about 20 yards east of the brook.
Park your car along side the road north of where the cache is. Follow the trails to this location:

W088 59.431
At this spot you will notice a not so well defined trail going toward the west - take it.
In a short while you will see the final cache location and only a farsighted dog could miss where I hid it.
DO NOT BUSHWHACK! Please obey this warning as there is a low level hornets nest about 70 feet southwest of the cache site which you do not want to bump into.
To repeat some of the history of this spot and to share some new stuff .
Blackhawk, the famous indian chief, used this area of Spring Brook to hide after starting the Blackhawk War.
This area was bought by the city after the Sutherland Farm was divided by the building of I-90 and they then sold the land to the city. When walking in this section you can still see some of the foundations of their house and buildings. You can even find the sidewalk to the house if you are lucky and the old windmill base.
I left the old logbook from Spring Brook I & II - hopefully this one will last a while.
