Take West Shore Road off of Route 3A in Bristol and park at the Elwell Trail parking lot across the street from Wellington State Park.
Trail maps are available at Wellington State Park, but should not be needed.
Follow the yellow trail from the parking lot. You may proceed in either direction at the first trail fork. To the left is steeper and rockier, to the right is easier. The trails come back together.
At next fork, follow the trail towards Sugarloaf Mountain.
